How do I know if our spill containment is actually compliant in Abu Dhabi?
#1
We've got a yard with a few IBCs of chemicals and a bund we inherited when we took the lease, but I honestly have no idea if it meets the requirements or if it's just there to look the part. A client's HSE team is coming next month and I don't want to be caught out. I've been trying to find an Abu Dhabi spill containment compliance guide that isn't just a supplier trying to sell me a new bund, but the information I've found so far is vague about what's actually mandatory versus recommended. Has anyone here been through a proper audit and can tell me what they looked for? I'm particularly unsure about whether the bund needs to hold 110 percent of the largest container, and how you even prove that once it's installed.
