Server side test today and give out the App for free to help me to test.
Now, is all ok and the server side is much better!!!

Tomorrow the price of the App will return normal.
We wanna give the possibility to download it to more users!!!

Just checking in to see how it's going with regards to the update of the CB Radio Box. We've been checking both this site, as well as the "Update" section of the Apple App Store. Not sure if we missed it or not. So, we thought we would just check in.

Working on it... we returned to work today.
The version will be the 2.0....
Anyway, the 31th night i talked with an user on the radio from the UK, and i'm working on some features he suggested me :
- Who is online
- Extended chat with avatars and better refresh
- Profiles
- Times differences for the country

The avatar used will be the Game Center ones.

Hi SteMar....

After the test with 1 day of FREE download of the iOS/Mac Radio we understood there are much users that wanna download it (in 1 day 1000 download each OS).
We discovered a problem : poples wanna talk on the channels of a real cb radio, they don't understand is Wi-Fi and not Radio.

We are working hard on those things:
- Users online list
- Smaller TALK button (we need space for minimap)
- Minimap with location of the talker
- Batter chat with smilies and avatars.
- Facebook integration
- Dedicated server for each App (not a central server)
- Snow compatibility for the MAC version

And a new App derived from the CB Radio Box called "CB Video Box";
In some days we will release the update and the new App.

Hey There,
WOW. It sounds like it is a very popular App already.

There is an App out there called "CB" that is made for Apple devices. It seems to work pretty well. It also seems that most everyone that uses it, understands that it is NOT an actual CB Radio, even though they use it as though it were. All that to say, I wouldn't worry about how people are going to receive it. They'll figure it out Ok. And for those that like it - they'll stick around. The rest will get bored and move on. Such is life.

Anyway, all that to say, we just can't wait to see what you do with it. We were just thinking however, wouldn't it be good to at least have something out there and update it, than not having anything out there at all? Then you'll have a bunch of folks helping to work out the bugs, instead of just one or two people, trying to do it all. Just a thought.

Thx SteMar, i 'm doing the best i can.

I tested the CB App you said, but i don't understand how it works.
It seems auto scan all the time...
Anyway he seems to have more people on it cause it's free.

In these days i studied much the video and the audio flow, and i discovered a new way to pack the video and audio file, that really go slow on the wi-fi device. Infact if you test the CB Radio Box for Mac you receive the message after 1 sec.

You done a great suggestion showing me the CB App... now i understand what you mean with the new features.
And as i dedicated 1 server for the new version of the radio and for the coming CB Video Box, we can use the map features too.

Looking better the CB App it really seems a bad copy of the CB Radio Box eheheh...
We will see in this week what happen

The big update is finally coming!!!!
Now the connection is faster with a speech codec much compresed.
Added maps and annotations.
New Server side that enable also connecting on the 3G cellular line.

I'm very happy!!!

It is said that, 'Good things come to those that wait'. Well, it sounds like you're getting closer to publication of the new and improved CB Radio Box. How cool is that?

Though we have never been able to actually open up the file to even see what it looks like, we are really looking forward to having fun with the App. So if you can, please let us know - we'll be watching. Thanks.

Hi SteMar, yes in this moment the App is in review, and i'm crossing fingers!!!!
Lately we had some bad adventures with reviewers that slowed the publishing of the app.

Yes the new update work great!!!
I think it will be a new start!!!
I discovered a new audio codec much compressed from Apple, and we structured the server in another way.
