This is a great CB Radio emulation that use internet to communicate.
This app won't just be chat, but we want to re-create the emotions felt back in the 80s and 90s with the idea that you can talk to strangers and no one knowing who you really are!

The app use Game Center to retrieve the nickname, else "Noname" is used.

We will be updating the app frequently - one thing planned is location finder on maps to find out where the other users are from that you are talking to.

Hi Jim,
yes there are many users (totally now about 2000), but some bugs for the Peer 2 Peer has slowed down the process for a perfect communication.
The version 1.4, which will arrive in 2/3 days, is perfect, and all users will come again.
We will also advertise the radio on this release to raise the users and the updates will come regularly.

After the 1.4 we will start to add new great features, like the localization, the nick and some others.
We worked hard first on a perfect communication system.
Any suggestion is welcome!

Do we still have to open a port in our router for cb radio box to work?

No.
The only thing you need, is to be sure you don't have the firewall for outgoing connections.
Usually none has this firewall enabled.
I see much users that don't talk, or try to exit and enter at least 20 times in 20 sec.
This is not good.

Anyway, is very strange, much users talked to us, but they can't stay a lot to reach a good number of user online.

I'm working on some features to get for first, the communications without bugs.
I'm doing this way beacuse, the first release was perfect, but nobody known how to open ports on firewalls. And we want all can use it, cause it is very funny.

After this will be ok, i will add those features:
- Localization
- Game Center Nick

In this moment i uploaded a new update (will be published in 4 days), that will let us talk with more than one device from the same wi-fi.
So you can do test in LAN if you have 2 iphone/ipad/ipod/mac or with a friend.

I can't hear anyone talking on CB Radio Box on my 1st gen iPad or my iPhone 4S. What could I be doing wrong ?

Have you tried talking different times in the channel? I find that for the first few min people don't reply but after a short while they do.
